Training opportunity for SMMEs, start-ups

Overstrand SMMEs, business start-ups, NPOs and cooperatives are invited to take part in a two-day Services SETA eLearning hybrid training programme to gain practical skills that can support their growth, sustainability and long-term development.

The training, facilitated by Services SETA in partnership with the National Development Agency (NDA), will provide participants with practical knowledge tailored to the needs of different types of organisations.

Each cooperative, SMME or NPO should nominate one representative to attend the training on behalf of the organisation.

The programme will cover:
  • Entrepreneurial Skills for MSMEs – providing practical skills and knowledge to support the development and sustainability of small businesses.
  • Non-Profit Organisational Sustainability for NPOs – focusing on skills and knowledge to strengthen the sustainability and effectiveness of non-profit organisations.
  • Cooperative Governance and Entrepreneurial Mindset for Cooperatives – aimed at strengthening governance practices and developing an entrepreneurial approach.
Training will take place from 09:00 to 15:00 over two consecutive days on 24-25 August 2026 at Hawston Thusong.
